This week’s devotions are being written by Karen Ludwig: who is very
thankful for  the opportunity to “Think on Thanks”   The vehicle for  the
thinking is the hymn: “Now Thank We All Our God”, a favorite of mine through
many years!

 

VERSE 3

All praise and thanks to God The Father now be given,

The Son, and Him who reigns With them in highest heaven

The one eternal God, Whom earth and heaven adore;

For thus it was, is now, And shall be evermore.

 

Thought

A final reassuring thought—God, our God, is eternal. He doesn’t need an
extended warranty, he doesn’t need to be replaced, he doesn’t wear down, he
doesn’t have a short shelf life, and he isn’t last year’s model.  Now, try
and match that when you are out shopping and trying to find the perfect
gift.  It has already been found for you. Has always been there—it was, is
now and shall be ever more.

 

Give thanks people of faith—Give praise followers of the Lord!
