As many of you may or may not know, Erika has accepted a postion at St. Judes Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenneesee and began working there July 6. After a month of commuting between Michigan-Tennessee- Toronto-Tennessee-Michigan, we are finally moving the family down this weekend, July 31 to the land of Elvis, Blues and BBQ. Our new 'home' will be a 1,000-square-foot apartment on the Mississippi River's Mud Island (not as muddy as it sounds) while we await the sale of our home in Michigan. While it isn't fun to maintain two households, we are happy to move slowly as we depart from friends and family. We have established www.kloehn.net to chronicle our new adventure and help keep in touch with everyone. Pictures, postings, and articles will document the transition from Midwest to Mid-South, for-profit to non-profit, and cold winters to very hot summers. As part of this project, we also hope to create a weekly "electronic newsletter" delivered straight to your email's inbox. (O.K. - maybe every two weeks!).
