Prayer Ministries

healing prayer

Prayer Chain – If you’ve ever been prayed for during times of personal crisis, you know how powerful it can be. By joining Zion’s Prayer Chain, you can be part of the amazing process of surrounding others with prayer. Each Monday, prayer requests from the congregation will be sent to you via e-mail, or you can pick up a copy of the prayer requests in the church office. No experience necessary — just a desire to pray for others. Joining the Prayer Chain is as easy as calling the Church Office at 734-994-4455.

Healing Prayer – For over 2,000 years, Christians have used prayer as a means for emotional, spiritual and physical healing. This ministry will prepare you to serve as a pray-er for healing prayer which is offered regularly at our worship services throughout the year. To learn more, contact Dan McConnell danmcc@umich.edu

Prayer Notes – Since it feels so good to know that a prayer request has been received, we have a team of folks who write personal notes to those who request prayers.  If you have a heart for prayer, and enjoy ensuring a personal touch, we would welcome your participation in this ministry.

Prayer Requests – If you are in need of prayer, or know someone who is, please email drinehart@zlc-aa.org or call 734-994-4455.  On Sundays, when you’re here for worship, complete the prayer request forms found in the pews and drop them in the prayer lanterns in front of the sanctuary, or in the offering plate.
